What We Do

Newly founded in 2024, Real Good AI is a 501c3 nonprofit for the modern world. AI is already changing lives. With your support, we can try to make those changes positive. 

We chose the name REAL GOOD AI for three reasons:

  1. The future needs AI that can empower without doing damage. We need AI that is REAL in that it is reliable and interpretable with knowledge of what it does and does not know.

  1. We need AI to use its power for GOOD. AI should be a tool that enhances the lives and creativity of humans.

  2. Research is a serious business but that doesn’t mean we can’t all have fun while we do it. We hope you will have fun with us.

Our Mission

At REAL GOOD AI, we’re all about advancing the world using the power of AI to do good. We assist our nonprofit partners free of charge so they can focus on their missions to work towards a brighter future. Without being motivated by profit, we have the experience and credentials to help solve difficult AI problems with fundamental research that work to illuminate AI’s black box. We strive to make sure everyone can get in on the AI action in a positive and productive way with practical advice on AI safety, privacy, and helpful information on emerging tools. We shake up the usual research game, encourage diverse ideas, and, most importantly, have a blast while making AI that’s, well, REAL GOOD!

  1. Partner Data Science Service so we can contribute to the brighter future that numerous nonprofits are working towards, with resources available to them for free.

  2. Research to support ethical AI development so that there are resources and people fighting for solving AI problems the right way rather than the profitable way.

  3. Resources to communicate AI best practices so the community can positively and safely interact with AI as it stands today.

  4. Empowering Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) in our community so the future will be bright for human creativity and future generations have the opportunity to get in on AI in a positive way.
